Co missioner George Gervais will be attending the official opening of the revitalized and Historic Sanford Mill.  Founded in 1867, this mill has served as the iconic center of downtown Sanford, employing thousands of Mainers.  The mill closed in 1955 after the textile depression costing more than 3500 local jobs.  For decades the mill sat in disrepair; until now!
