7/22/15 Podcast Jim Ryan

A clearer picture is emerging of the hours leading up to the death of Sandra Bland in a rural Texas jail last week. The Waller County Medical Examiner has determined that the 28-year-old used a plastic garbage pail liner to strangle herself, but her family has demanded a Justice Dept. investigation, insisting that Bland had everything to live for and would not have committed suicide. Yesterday, dash-cam video was released, showing the 28-year-old being dragged out of her car at a Texas traffic stop. DTS Trooper Brian Encinia pulls Bland from her vehicle, chastising her for smoking in her car. ABC’s Jim Ryan has the latest.
