Justin Bieber celebrated his 20th birthday on Saturday by flying his friends out to the Bahamas for a lavish party on a yacht, according to a new report.

The “Baby” star was previously reported to have marked the milestone by shunning a birthday bash in favor of a quiet dinner with his loved ones at his rented home in Atlanta, Georgia.

However, it has now emerged Bieber actually celebrated his big day by throwing a yacht party off the coast of the Bahamas for all his pals.

The pop star is said to have spent thousands of dollars flying his gang out to the Caribbean, renting out private five-star villas on the exclusive island of Eleuthera, and hiring a private yacht for his birthday on Saturday, according to TMZ.com.

Bieber’s entourage reportedly included rapper Lil Za, who was charged with drug possession following a raid at the singer’s California home in January, and singer Khalil Sharief, who was arrested along with the pop star in Miami Beach, Florida.

The 20-year-old is facing multiple criminal charges, including driving under the influence, following his Florida arrest in January. He was also charged with assault in his native Canada and is still under investigating for an alleged egging incident that resulted in $20,000 worth of damage.
