Linkin Park star makes directorial debut with ‘Mall’

Linkin Park star Joseph Hahn has been given a huge career boost just hours after learning the band’s new album has entered the U.S. charts at number three – his movie “Mall” has been picked up for North American distribution.

Paragon Pictures bosses have acquired the rights to the thriller, which was co-written by actor Vincent D’Onofrio and features Gina Gershon, Cameron Monaghan and Peter Stormare.

Hahn, who has directed most of Linkin Park’s videos, makes his feature film debut with “Mall.”

The movie, which chronicles a shoot-out at a shopping center, will be released later this year.
