R. Kelly confirms collabroation with Justin Bieber

Soul man R. Kelly has confirmed reports suggesting he and Justin Bieber have teamed up to record a new track.

In a new interview with Vibe magazine, the “I Believe I Can Fly” hitmaker revealed the new song he wrote for the teen pop star will be released next week.

He says, “I just did a song (with him). (Justin) just called me to do a song and it’s hot. He wanted to go and do some R&B stuff, so we got together and did that.”

News of the unlikely collaboration started circulating at the beginning of the month after Bieber sent a tweet to Kelly that read: “They aren’t ready”.

Kelly is very much in vogue at the moment after recording new lyrics for a sexually-charged new version of Bruno Mars’ Gorilla and appearing on Lady Gaga’s “ARTPOP” song “Do What U Want.”
