LOS ANGELES (AP) — Taylor Swift is getting some legal space between herself and a man who has been going around claiming he’s married to the singer.

A judge in Los Angeles has granted Swift a restraining order against Timothy Sweet.

The judge has ordered Sweet to stay away from Swift and her family for three years — and covers places where she might be working in Los Angeles and Nashville.

Court filings by Swift say Sweet has threatened to harm her family — or anyone who interferes with his perceived relationship with her.

Swift has said she fears for her safety — both in public and at home.
