Engineers are still working on the final touches of the thrice-delayed Verruckt water slide at the Schlitterbahn water park in Kansas City, Kansas, but released this footage showing that it’s safe to ride.

Waterpark designer Jeff Henry and ride engineer John Schooley are the first – and so far, only – people to have conquered the Verruckt, which is German for “insane.”

The 17-story, 168-foot-tall water slide was scheduled to open in May but was pushed back to June 5 and then again to June 29. So far, it has not opened to the public and an opening date hasn’t been announced.

Guinness World Records certified it as the world’s tallest water slide in April.
