Rapper Eminem topped off a huge weekend on both sides of the Atlantic on Sunday night by announcing details of the release of his new album and single during an MTV Video Music Awards ad break.

The hitmaker, who had headlined the Leeds Festival in England earlier in the day and posted the cryptic message “Guess who’s REALLY back? #VMAs” on Twitter.com, popped up in a Beats by Dre commercial during the U.S. awards show and revealed his new album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, will be out on 5 November.

The comeback album, executive produced by Rick Rubin and Dr. Dre, will feature his new single Berzerk, which will be available to download from next week.
