Representatives for Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have silenced a tabloid report suggesting the country music couple is heading for divorce.

Editors at America’s National Enquirer magazine allege the singers are ending their 16-year marriage, citing “furious clashes and suspected infidelities.”

According to the tabloid’s sensational cover story, McGraw has been “threatening to walk for good”, but his spokesperson has dismissed speculation of a split, telling GossipCop.com the claims were “totally false and ridiculous.”

Hill’s rep also slammed the story as untrue.
