Car Catches Fire During Test Drive in Turner

A car in Turner caught fire Saturday afternoon.

According to the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office, the fire happened at 179 Upper Street at 12:45 p.m. Saturday.

The Sheriff’s Office said the driver was taking the car for a test run from RJB & Son Motor Company when it became fully engulfed in flames.

The two people inside the car were not injured, according to our info partners at CBS 13 News.

Rescue crews are unsure of what caused the fire.
