Possible medical event leads to fatal crash

HARRISON, Maine (AP) — Investigators believe a medical event preceded a fatal crash in the town of Harrison, Maine.

Jerry Brill, 69, of Harrison, was pronounced dead at the scene late Tuesday afternoon after his vehicle went off the road and rolled onto its roof, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department said.

Brill, who was wearing his seatbelt, is believed to have suffered from a medical event that caused the crash. The state medical examiner’s office will determine the cause of death, officials said.
