Bill Benson, Executive Director of Boots2Roots speaks to us about Memorial Day and what Boots2Roots does to help our Veterans. Boots2Roots mission is to assist active duty military members find meaningful work in Maine and provide a pipeline of military talent to Maine’s employers. Boots2Roots, a nonprofit that helps former members of the military find meaningful employment in Maine, has hired its first outside staffer — a veteran — to help more vets land on their feet when they return to civilian life.
