Community Matters More

We speak with Gavin Robinson, Community Relations Manager for Bangor Savings Bank. The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation was created with a mission to help make our communities more livable and more vibrant. Community Matters More, is actually the signature program of the Bank’s Foundation.

•Community Matters More is a program of The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation that directly engages the public in giving grant awards.
•During the month of February, they are pleased to share that the public’s votes will determine the recipients of over $140,000 to nonprofit organizations in Maine and New Hampshire.
•In turn, these nonprofits will receive grants ranging anywhere from $1,000 up to $5,000, with winners announced in March.

The public can vote for their favorite nonprofit during the month of February (between Feb 1 and Feb 29). Any Maine or New Hampshire resident, of any age, can vote on the online ballot, which can be found by visiting www.bangor.com/cmm
