Helping Out Our Community

Marissa Lyons works as an Ed Tech in a special Education classroom at Mahoney Middle Schools. Marissa and her Daughter Macayla are working together filling that need to help our community with making cloth masks.  When school was cancelled due to Covid19, she was devastated, even though she knew this was the best decision for everyone’s safety and well-being.  Immediately they remotely started creating work from scratch to meet each individual student’s needs from the distant confines of their own make-shift offices at their homes.  She is honored to be in the middle of the battle surrounded by caring friends who are stepping up to help fill a need with her daughter & new partner Macayla.
