Maine Points: The Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter

In Maine, more than 29,000 people are living with Alzheimer’s. 66,000 caregivers dedicate 102 million hours of unpaid care. From Fort Kent to York Beach and every town and city in between, your local Maine Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is here to help.

Whether it’s offering support to anyone facing Alzheimer’s, advocating for the needs and rights of those facing dementia, or advancing critical research, we work toward methods of treatment, prevention, and ultimately, a cure.

June during Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, the Alzheimer’s Association is encouraging all Americans to take charge of their brain health.
