AccuWeather meteorologist Heather Zehr joined Matt Gagnon to discuss the current and upcoming weather conditions. Temperatures are already in the 70s, with a high near 90 degrees expected, and a heat advisory is in effect until 8 PM. The heat is due to a high-pressure area and southwest winds. By the end of the week, temperatures could drop to the upper 60s. The weekend will be cooler with cloudy skies and possible showers, followed by drier conditions next weekend. The Mid-Atlantic region is expected to experience more rain than other areas, with tropical moisture contributing to showers and thunderstorms.
