Meteorologist Heather Zehr

Matt Gagnon interviews Heather Zehr from AccuWeather to discuss the unusually warm temperatures in the US, with recent highs reaching 80 degrees, even potentially breaking a record of 84 degrees from 1947. Heather attributes this to a high-pressure system over the eastern US, allowing warm air to flow in. However, a cold front is expected to bring cooler temperatures, with highs dropping to the mid-50s by Friday. Rainfall of a quarter to half an inch is anticipated, which will be beneficial as the area is very dry. Matt plans to remove his air conditioner based on Heather’s forecast.
