Mike Gray / SALUTE THE PROTECTORS Fundraiser

Matt Gray, A veteran and Project Coordinator for Easter Seals of Maine speaks to matt about SALUTE THE PROTECTORS Fundraiser.

SALUTE THE PROTECTORS, a fundraiser to support veterans in need.
From now until November 7th, please join us for our 2020 “Salute the Protectors” fundraiser. When you donate $50 or more, you’ll receive a hand-sewn camo face mask, made from a soldier’s uniform that has seen active duty- each one made right here in Maine! The same material worn to protect our freedom… now worn by you to protect the people around you.

COVID-19 has impacted everyone in Maine, but the vulnerable Veteran population has found an increased need in nearly every facet of care.  Veterans Count anticipates this will continue to rise as veterans are often the last ones to pick up the phone to call for help.  This organization makes sure that those who have put their lives on the line for our freedom, have access to emergency financial funds- especially as winter approaches and demand for heating fuel and housing assistance skyrockets.
