The 7th Annual Maine Veterans Radiothon

The 7th annual Maine Veterans Radiothon, presented by Bill Dodge GMC, happened on 10/21/22 from 6am-12pm.  WGAN dedicated these hours to helping Maine’s Veterans. Your donation will help Veterans in Maine with employment, housing, fuel, and more. The broadcast featured some prominent Mainers who are passionate about this cause including

  • Congressman Jared Golden.
  • Former Governor and current Gubernatorial Candidate, Paul LePage
  • Congressional Candidate Ed Thelander.

  • Congresswoman Chellie Pingree.
  • Senator Susan Collins
  • Former Congressman and Governor, John Baldacci
  • General (Ret.) Bill Libby of the organization Vet to Vet. We will talk with the General about his service in the United States Army and how Veterans Forward continues to serve Vet to Vet.
  • Charlie Summers, Maine Energy Marketers Association. Charlie will talk about his service and how Maine Energy Marketers teamed up with a Veteran in need to help fix their family’s furnace.
  • Todd Crawford, Board Chairman for Veterans Forward– Todd was also a former Captain with the Maine Army National Guard 133rd Engineers.
  • Joe Reagan returns to the Radiothon! Joe is a US Army Veteran, a long time Veteran Supporter, and the Director of Military and Veterans Outreach for Wreaths Across America.
