LUBEC, Maine (WGAN) A Whiting man wanted on felony charges is in police custody.

Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland says 32-year-old Robert Boggia was arrested at his girlfriend’s home in the Trescott area of Lubec around 11am Friday. He faces a number of charges including gross sexual assault, domestic violence, robbery, burglary, and theft.

Police issued a press release Thursday asking for the public’s help finding the man.

45-year-old Nicole Phinney, Boggia’s girlfriend, was also arrested and charged with hindering his apprehension.

Police say Boggia runs marijuana shops in Machias and Calais, and had eluded authorities for most of the week.

Both were taken to Washington County Jail.
