One man was killed and another was left in critical condition after a shooting in Corinth.

Maine State Police say troopers responded to multiple gunshots in Corinth early Sunday morning and found a wounded man outside of 272 Main St. who was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Troopers entered a nearby apartment they believed was connected with the incident and found another man’s body, identified as 46-year-old Scott Roberts of Glenburn, who died of a gunshot wound.

The death is being investigated as a homicide.

No arrests had been made as of Monday, but police say the shooting was an isolated incident with no ongoing risk to the public.
