CORNVILLE, Maine (AP) Authorities say a man was killed and another injured when the roof of a mobile home collapsed in central Maine.

The collapse happened on Wednesday in Cornville. It killed 21-year-old Adam Fine of Cornville, who owned the home. Twenty-two-year-old Nathan Shaw of Skowhegan was also injured and transported to a hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.

Police say the two men had been in the process of tearing tin sheathing and other materials from the home when it collapsed on them. The unoccupied home was in the midst of being demolished. Police say they saw a considerable amount of snow on the roof of the mobile home.

The collapse happened about a half mile from the Skowhegan line. The home was described as totally collapsed.
