13 displaced in Portland structure fire; no injuries reported

PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) The Red Cross is helping 13 people who were displaced following a 2-alarm fire in Portland early Tuesday morning.

The Portland Fire Department says the blaze broke out around 1:35 a.m. At 28 Lincoln Street. Fire was seen on the outside of the building, then spread inside all the way up to the attic. No one was injured.

The cause is under investigation but investigators don’t believe it was suspicious.
