14-year-old arrested after report of shots fired in Lewiston

LEWISTON, Maine (WGAN) A 14-year-old boy is facing charges in connection with a report of shots fired in Lewiston.

CBS 13 reports that officers were called to Pierce St. shortly after 4:30 p.m. Saturday after a number of shots were fired.

Police say they arrived and found several spent shell casings.

Officers used surveillance video to identify the teen suspect, who was charged with aggravated reckless conduct and taken to Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

Police say there was specific target, and the incident remains under investigation.
