17 immigrants detained in Lisbon Falls

Police say 17 illegal and undocumented immigrants were detained in Androscoggin County this week.

Police say they made the arrests at a house on Main St. in Lisbon Falls Tuesday night.

According to CBS 13, Lisbon police made the arrests along with U.S. Border Patrol agents.

The individuals were taken to detention centers in Rangeley.

The immigrants were from Guatemala, Venezuela and Nicaragua.

Criminal charges from the USBP are pending.
