19-year-old arrested in Maine for gang-related killing in New York

A teenager wanted for homicide in New York was arrested in Maine.

Police say 19-year-old David McCadney was arrested Friday during a search of a home at 439 West River Road in Waterville.

McCadney was wanted in New York for second degree homicide in connection with gang-related shootings.

He was charged with being a fugitive from justice.

He’s being held without bail at the Kennebec County Correctional Facility awaiting extradition back to New York.
