19-year-old suspect turns himself in after Auburn shooting

Auburn police say a 19-year-old has turned himself in after a shooting in the area of the Walmart on Mount Auburn Ave.

Police say 19-year-old Sincere George of Lewiston turned himself in Sunday at the Auburn Police Department.

Police say he and a 16-year-old were wanted in connection with the shooting of a male last Thursday.

The younger suspect was arrested last Friday.

George has been charged with elevated aggravated assault and reckless conduct with a firearm.

Bail was set at $15,000 cash with conditions that he not have contact with either the victim or the juvenile co-defendant.
