2.5 magnitude earthquake reported in Androscoggin County

Residents in Androscoggin County could feel the ground shake Tuesday evening.

The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 2.5 magnitude earthquake near the Turner-Livermore town line at adepth of 9.6 kilometers.

It happened just after 6 p.m.

As of Thursday afternoon, more than 200 people had reported that they felt the ground shake to earthquake.usgs.gov.
