2 people accused of assaulting, burning man after luring him into Lewiston apartment

Police say two people lured a man into an apartment before beating and burning him in Lewiston.

Police responded to a report of a man in distress at an apartment on Pine Street on Monday.

The 37-year-old victim was found tied up, beaten and burned and was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

44-year-old Zachery Paradis and 42-year-old Jennifer Dionne were arrested and face kidnapping and assault charges.
