The U.S. Coast Guard used a helicopter to rescue two people from a lobster boat that ran aground off Maine’s coast Monday night.

The Coast Guard says the 43-foot vessel ran aground near Metinic Green Island, which is about seven miles off the coast of St. George.

Both mariners made it safely on to the island after the boat ran aground and were rescued by a Coast Guard helicopter.

No injuries were reported.
