26 y/o arrested after stabbing incident at Raymond wedding reception

One man has been arrested after a stabbing incident at a Raymond campground last night.

According to a statement, deputies with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to Kingsley Camp Ground in Raymond for reports of the stabbing just after 7 PM.

When they arrived they found 26 year old Donald Halsing with a knife wound to the chest in what appeared to be an unprovoked attack during a wedding reception. He was taken to Maine Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies identified the suspect as 26 year old Andrew Manderson, who was charged with elevated aggravated assault.

The incident remains under investigation.
