283 new coronavirus cases, 3 deaths, as Mills extends curfew

The Maine CDC reporting 283 additional coronavirus cases on Saturday with 3 additional deaths.

This brings the total count on cases to 11, 640, and the death toll ticks up to 227.

This as the 9pm state curfew for Maine businesses was extended on Friday.

The curfew applies to outdoor and indoor amusement venues, movie theaters, performing arts venues, casinos, and businesses that provide seated food and drink service, including social clubs, restaurants, and bars and tasting rooms currently open for outdoor service.

Takeout and delivery are still allowed after 9pm.

The curfew, originally set to expire tomorrow, will now be in effect through January 3, 2020.
