Police are confirming that a second child is dead from a hit-and-run crash in Albion.

The first of two twin two-year-old boys died at the scene while being pushed in a stroller by their mother, 33-year-old Mollie Egold, last Friday.

State Police say Egold remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition as the crash remains under investigation.

The accused driver in the hit-and-run, 44-year-old Benjamin Lancaster, was later found and arrested.

Lancaster was charged before the second child died with manslaughter and three counts each of aggravated criminal OUI and leaving the scene of an accident causing death or serious injury.

A GoFundMe page for the family says the second child died after being taken off of life support when he was tested to be brain dead for a third time Tuesday.

The GoFundMe page had raised nearly $34,000 as of Tuesday night.
