3 fishermen rescued from waters off Boothbay Harbor after boat sinks

The Coast Guard rescued three fishermen from a sinking boat off the coast of Boothbay Harbor Wednesday morning.

The Coast Guard responded to a mayday call from the crew of a vessel that was sinking about 20 miles south of Boothbay Harbor.

The three were rescued from the water and didn’t have life jackets or life rafts on board.

One was suffering from hypothermia while the other two were not injured.
