7 new COVID-19 deaths pushes Maine death toll to 257

Seven new coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Maine on Saturday. The death toll is now at 257.

The additional deaths reported today are three women ages 70 to 90 years old in Cumberland County, and four women ages 50 to 90 years old in York County.

The Maine CDC reported 414 new cases of coronavirus and 16 more hospitalizations.

There have been 15,620 coronavirus cases reported in Maine since the pandemic started. 13,687 have been confirmed and 1,933 are probable.

10,477 people have recovered from the virus since the pandemic started.

Cumberland County reported 143 new cases on Saturday, bringing its total to 4,794. York County reported an additional 82 cases to bring its total to 3,142.
