A 22-Year-Old Corinth Man Arrested for Allegedly Murdering his Mother

A 22-year-old man is in custody after being charged of allegedly murdering his mother.

At around 8:30, Saturday morning, police responded to a report of a shooting at a residence at 344 Main Street in Corinth.

Police found 41-year-old Abigail Thomas dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police charged her son Daniel Derosier of murder.

Early Indications into the investigation shows the victim was involved in an altercation with the son.

The investigation remains ongoing.
