A Fire in the Town of Lisbon, Leaves Home a Total Loss.

The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office has investigated a house fire in the town of Lisbon.

The fire occurred Thursday morning on Ferry Road, where fire crews extinguished the flames quickly.

Due to extensive damage from heat and smoke, the home is considered a total loss.

Investigators believe the cause was a malfunctioning electric blanket that set a mattress on fire.

No one was in hurt in the fire.
