A Major Fire Damages the Shop at The Maine Wildlife Park in Gray

No one is hurt after crews battled a second-alarm fire at the Maine Wildlife Park shop in Gray late last night.

Firefighters say they arrived to find heavy fire activity at the park shop building and struck a second alarm.

The park is home to more than 30 species of Maine wildlife that cannot be returned to their natural habitats were not hurt.

The park is currently closed for the season.
