A Pedestrian was Struck and Killed in a Parking Lot in Waterville

One person is dead after being hit by a vehicle in a parking lot of a gas station in Waterville.

Sunday morning, at around 11:20, emergency crews responded to a crash at a Big Apple Store on Main Street.

According to the Portland Press Herald, the initial investigation indicates that a vehicle going east on Main Street, left the road, striking a pedestrian and a vehicle parked at a gas pump.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Their identity has yet been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
