Agents make arrest after seizing drugs from Caribou home

A California man is facing drug trafficking charges following an arrest in Caribou on Tuesday.

Drug agents were investigating suspected drug trafficking out of a residence on Fontaine Drive in Caribou. 40-year-old Jose Verdugo of Monrovia, California, was taken into custody after agents executed a search warrant at the home early Tuesday.

They seized methamphetamine, oxycodone, and fentanyl, with a combined street value of over $60,000.

Verdugo faces multiple trafficking charges and was taken to Aroostook County Jail.
