A new death, and 42 additional cases of coronavirus reported Saturday by the Maine CDC.

The latest death from a woman in her 80s from Somerset County marks the 135th death in Maine.

The total number of cases now stands at 4,834 in Maine with 4,349 of those being confirmed, and the remaining 485 probable.

Recoveries from the virus continue to climb too at 4,211.

The Maine CDC reports that 431 patients have been hospitalized at some point during their illness.

Cumberland County continues to lead the state in positive cases with nearly half the cases originating from the county.
