A Portland man has been charged for his alleged role in the U.S. Capitol riot three years ago.

Michael Fournier was arrested Monday and is facing several charges.

The FBI said someone who knew Fournier contacted them a few days after the riot on Jan. 6 at the U.S. Capitol and told them he was there that day. Investigators also met with Fournier’s brother, who says Fournier was in D.C. during the riot.

Fournier was charged with several crimes in a Washington federal court.
