Aroostook County snowmobile crash leaves Massachusetts man dead

Wardens say a Massachusetts man died in a snowmobile crash in Aroostook County over the weekend.

The Maine Warden Service says the crash involved three snowmobiles and happened Saturday afternoon in Oxbow. 57-year-old Darryl Sittler of Chelmsford, Massachusetts was killed when his snowmobile collided with two others. He died at the scene.

The operator of one of the other snowmobiles was treated and released from the hospital.

Wardens said more information would be released as it becomes available.
