Arrest made following stabbing in Androscoggin County

An argument in Mechanic Falls ended with one man stabbed and another in custody.

Police responded to the incident outside of a home on Callahan Circle on Wednesday night. They said it started with a fight between two neighbors, which led to another neighbor intervening.

One of the men involved was stabbed and suffered non-life threatening wounds.

50-year-old Scott O’Donnell was arrested and charged with elevated aggravated assault. He was brought to the Androscoggin County Jail.
