Auburn man killed in crash on bridge connecting Falmouth and Portland

PORTLAND (WGAN) Portland police say one man was killed in a crash on Martin’s Point Bridge on Thursday afternoon.

Lieutenant Robert Martin with the Portland Police Department said Friday that 37-year-old David Jensen of Auburn was killed in the crash, which happened on the northbound side just before 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Jensen died at the scene when his vehicle struck a protective concrete barrier.

No other vehicles were involved and Jensen was the only occupant in his vehicle.

Police are still investigating and asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to give them a call.
