Augusta Officers Help Deer Stuck in Soccer Net


AUGUSTA, Maine (WGAN)  Augusta Police say two officers got the chance to be a couple of dears for a doe caught in netting.

Police say the officers were called to the Piggery Road soccer fields where a deer had gotten stuck in the netting of one of the goals.

Officers were able to cut the deer free and say it took off towards the woods.
