Augusta police working to identify suspect after CVS robbery


Police are searching for a man who walked into an Augusta pharmacy and demanded prescription drugs.

Police responded to the CVS on Capitol Street at about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The unknown suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

The robber is described as a white male, about 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was wearing a green sweatshirt with a black hood, green pants and gloves.

Anyone who knows the man’s identity is asked to call Augusta police at 626-2370 ext. 3418.
