LITCHFIELD, Maine (WGAN) Maine State Police have released the identity of a driver killed in a single-vehicle crash at the West Gardiner Toll Plaza last month.

40-year-old Lucas Yurchick of Blue Hill was behind the wheel of a vehicle that struck the toll plaza on November 20th.

Police said Yurchick struck a guardrail before redirecting his car back on the highway and striking a center pylon at the toll plaza, causing the vehicle to burst into flames.

Yurchick, who was the only person inside the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
