Bangor Police Make Arrest in Connection with Burglaries


BANGOR, Maine (WGAN)  Bangor Police say they have made an arrest in connection with a pair of robberies.

Police say the first one happened around 11:40 Sunday night at 1187 Union St.  Police say a single suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Then, just before 5 a.m. Monday, officers responded to another reported robbery, this time at 96 State St.  Again, a single suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say a weapon was not show in either robbery.

Police say 38-year-old Michelle Cormier was charged with two counts of robbery Monday evening and taken to Penobscot County Jail.

Bail was set at $10,000.
