Bangor Police Looking for “Serial Robber”

Bangor Police are asking for public help to find what they’re calling a serial robber.

They say they were sent to two robbery calls Sunday night in which the suspect was reportedly wearing a mask, wielding a knife, and demanding money.

The Sunday robberies took place at the Big Apple convenience
store at 146 State Street and the Circle K at Broadway and Griffin, which is the same store the same suspect reportedly robbed the previous Monday January 13.

Officers say the first robbery Sunday at the Big Apple store took place at around 8pm while they were second one at the Circle K store happened about 30 minutes later.

The suspect left on foot in an unknown direction. In all three robbery cases the suspect is described as a white male, between 5’08” and 6’02” tall, 250 to 300 lbs. Sunday the suspect was wearing a black mask, gray North Face sweatshirt, possible black rain jacket underneath, black pants, brown work boots, gray gloves with possible texture on the palms.
